I've been pursuing some form of art for as long as I can remember. This has evolved in many ways over my lifetime, but a few have remained as a constant.
Music, Woodworking, and Ceramics.
Often, our calling in life is never obvious—it loops, it pauses, it tests us. But if we keep showing up, even quietly, the vision becomes clear again.
For me, that clarity lives in ceramics.
I firmly believe that one of the many meanings of life is to transfer our energy into creating things that then take on a life of their own. Into something that might just speak to someone else when we’re not around.
And in that way, the things we make begin to live stories of their own.
